Typically, we use more propane in the Fall and Winter months than in the Spring and Summer. It's essential to start the colder seasons off by checking for any signs of your propane tank being low. You don’t necessarily need to worry about this step if you’ve signed up for our Automatic Propane Delivery option, which gauges your usage and schedules propane deliveries to your doorstep!

Check Your Appliances

You can gauge your propane level by simply starting dinner. If your stove flames are sputtering, this could be a sign your propane tank is low. Steady flames indicate the propane is full and smoothly operating, so if you see wavering flames on your stove or fireplace, you could be due for a refill. As for outdoor appliances, the same goes for grill tanks. If your outdoor grill doesn’t light, it's a clear sign that your propane tank is low or empty.

Monitor Your Gauge

Each Annapolis Propane tank has a gauge to indicate your propane levels at any given time. This measure level is the most accurate sign that your propane tank is low. If you selected our Will Call Delivery option and you see that your gauge is at 30% or less, give us a call. We’ll get your propane delivered to you at your earliest convenience!
